Split design

With a split design, the Q11 allows you to position each side wherever it feels most sensible and ergonomic. You can also use it as a separate keyboard by joining the two halves together with a jumper cable.

A refined piece of metal art.

The entire metal body is crafted from 6063 aluminum which is processed by CNC machining, polishing, anodizing, sandblasting and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to create this solid metal work of art that is the Q11.

OSA profile doubleshot PBT keycaps

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and a similar shape to SA. We call them OSA (OEM Spherically Angled) keycaps. PBT keycaps provide excellent oil resistance, improve typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading.

Switch layouts between macOS and Windows

Built with the Mac user experience in mind while maintaining compatibility with Windows devices, the Keychron Q11 comes with a system switch and an additional set of custom keys for Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

Programmable knob

Designed to enhance your creative workflow, the aluminum rotary encoder lets you easily customize your favorite keys and macros on the knob via VIA software.

You can easily customize the Q11's knob to the keys or macro commands you want, such as zooming in/out, adjusting screen brightness, brush size, volume, selecting video clips or photos, or backlight tone.

Q11 Program with QMK and VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap every key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware offers endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more.

Hot-swappable.

Hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or replace switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-facing RGB LED lights.

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist's angle with the premium, non-glossy PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also interference-free when users install OEM or Cherry profile alternate keycaps on the keyboard.

Pre-lubricated Gateron G Pro switch

By optimizing the switch mold, the Gateron G Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother with every stroke. Additionally, the factory pre-lubrication process on all G Pro switches (except the clicky ones) will ensure the best possible smoothness when typing.

All new screw-on PCB stabilizers

The screw-in design increases stability and makes changes and upgrades easier. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less unstable. Typing with the large keys (Spacebar, Shift, Enter, Delete) is now more stable and fluid. The Keychron Q11 also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.

What's in the box?

Make Q11 keymap work on VIA

Since the VIA code for Q11 is still awaiting Github approval and is not yet automatically recognized, you will need to manually download and import the Q11 keymap.

To get started, follow these steps: download the appropriate keymap JSON file, open VIA, enable "Show Layout Tab" in the "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file to the "Layout" tab in VIA to get the Q11 keymap working in VIA.
